Hailing originally from South Africa, but now residing in Dunedin - artist ROB FOOTE has wielded a pencil since childhood.  Rob is an award winning illustrator and author whose artistic narrative traverses the realms of storytelling and visual expression.

His surreal, original charcoal works (reminiscent of artist Shaun Tan) unveils a captivating narrative and an exquisite sense of still - capturing the artists wonderous imagination throughout each drawing.

Foote's book "Samples from the Lab' is a finalist in this years (2024) NZ Book Awards for Children & Young Adults.
